Violence against women and girls (VAWG) is one of the most widespread, persistent and devastating human rights violations in our world today and it remains largely unreported. Every 25th of November, since the year 2000, we celebrate international day of elimination of violence against Women. The theme for this year is "Orange the world: Generation equality stands against rape". Women, Men, Boys and Girls think about it.

Revamp: Changing the Story on Breast ‘Ironing’

Our bodies are vital and fragile and all we do to it could have really unhealthy effects. Breast ironing: Also known as breast flattening or breast sweeping is the act of using hard or heated objects like grinding stones, wooden spoons(spatulas) just to name a few to massage or "pound" the breast in a bit to decrease or slow down breast growth. The “breast ironing” process itself is painful and may make girls feel ashamed of their bodies.
